Building plans when selling

I am getting calls daily now from home owners who have sold their homes, with the provisio that the building plans must be intact. They go to the building control office and find out that the building plan is either not available, or completely out of date. I recommend that you check your building plan before you start advertising your home, or contacting an agent to sell your home. Once you do have your building plan, do not ever give it to anyone, not even your estate agent. Make copies, and only give out those copies to those who need it, such as banks.
